2027 Mustang GT and GT Premium Order Guide: Packages, Options and Colors

The 2027 Mustang GT carries over in four equipment groups: the GT 300A and 301A fastbacks, and the GT Premium 400A and 401A in fastback or convertible. All use the 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 with a standard 6-speed manual and an optional 10-speed automatic.

Standard equipment, packages and option codes are unchanged from 2026. The 2027 updates are a new color, Precision Purple Metallic, two deletions and a handful of equipment changes. The guide is dated October 15, 2026, and Ford notes that features, options and package content are subject to change. This article is part of our 2027 Mustang order guide coverage.
