2027 Mustang EcoBoost and EcoBoost Premium Order Guide: Packages, Options and Colors

The 2027 Mustang EcoBoost comes in four equipment groups: EcoBoost 100A and 101A, and EcoBoost Premium 200A and 201A. Every one uses the 2.3L EcoBoost with auto stop-start and a 10-speed automatic. The 100A is fastback only; the 101A, 200A and 201A are offered as a fastback or convertible.

The EcoBoost gets the only new package in the 2027 Mustang guide, the Wheel and Stripe Package (60B). Precision Purple Metallic joins the color lineup, and Ford app Remote Start is now standard on the 100A. The guide is dated October 15, 2026, and Ford notes that features, options and package content are subject to change.

What Changed From 2026

Compared with the 2026 Mustang order guide, these changes affect the EcoBoost and EcoBoost Premium.

Ford’s 2027 change summary does not list the RTR package update; the difference comes from comparing the two guides’ package contents.

The Four Equipment Groups

Each group builds on the previous one.

The 101A and 200A convertibles also include the perimeter alarm, which their fastbacks do not.

Standard EcoBoost Equipment

Every 2027 EcoBoost shares this base content, which the GT, Dark Horse and EcoBoost Premium all build on.

Mechanical

• 2.3L EcoBoost with auto stop-start
• 10-speed automatic with a 3.15 limited-slip rear axle
• Independent rear suspension and selectable drive modes
• Electric parking brake and electronic line-lock (track use only)
• Electric power-assisted steering with selectable effort

Exterior

• 18″ x 8″ Shadow Silver painted wheels with 235/50ZR18 all-season tires
• LED headlamps with black bezels and LED taillamps with sequential turn signals
• Dual bright exhaust with rolled tips
• Black grille and unique front fascia
• Convertible: fully lined cloth top with electromechanical drive and center latch

Interior and technology

• Cloth seats, 6-way manual driver and 4-way manual passenger

Remote Rev is included when you order the Active Valve Performance Exhaust (19W).

Wheel and Stripe Package and Appearance Packages

The EcoBoost offers three appearance packages on all four groups, and only one can be ordered at a time: the Wheel and Stripe Package, the Bronze Appearance Package and the Nite Pony Package. None can be combined with the RTR Performance Package or the 19″ Premier Polished wheels.

Wheel and Stripe Package (60B), new for 2027

• 19″ x 8.5″ machined aluminum wheels with 255/40R19 W-rated tires
• Black hood accent stripe (85R), available with every color

Bronze Appearance Package (60L)

• 19″ x 8.5″ Sinister Bronze painted wheels with 255/40R19 W-rated tires
• Sinister Bronze front and rear pony badges
• High gloss black grille with Sinister Bronze inserts
• Spoiler delete

Nite Pony Package (60G)

• 19″ x 8.5″ Ebony Black painted wheels with 255/40R19 W-rated tires
• Black front and rear pony badges and black mirror caps
• Painted black roof, except with Shadow Black paint or on the convertible
• Black wedge decklid spoiler (fastback)

A painted black roof delete (43A) is available on the fastback with the Nite Pony Package. The 20″ x 9″ Premium-painted wheels (64M) on the EcoBoost Premium are also not available with any of the three packages.

Mustang RTR Performance Package (67U)

The Mustang RTR Performance Package is a fastback-only option on the EcoBoost 101A, EcoBoost Premium 200A and EcoBoost Premium 201A. For 2027, it is listed under a new name, and its content list is longer than the 2026 Mustang RTR Package’s.

• Anti-lag technology, unique stability control and a unique drift/track alignment
• 3.55 TORSEN limited-slip rear axle
• 19″ x 9.5″ Tarnished Dark painted wheels with 255/40ZR19 tires and a 30mm wheel offset
• Brembo brakes with performance linings
• Active valve performance exhaust
• Dark Horse rear subframe with stiffer bushings
• Dark Horse Handling Pack stabilizer bars and adjustable strut top mounts
• GT front fascia, performance pack spoiler, cooling fan and steering rack travel gear
• Body-color performance plastic front bumper and front tow hooks
• Tarnished Dark low hood and accent stripe, carbon black grille and black headlamp bezels
• Tarnished Dark Anodized mirror caps and performance raised rear wing
• Carbon black rear tire spats and Tarnish Dark pony badges
• Electric hand-operated parking brake (drift brake, track use only)
• Paddle shifters, black onyx door-sill scuff plates and a unique welcome/splash screen animation
• Accent stitching on the console and seats: Hyper Lime with the Black Onyx with Hyper Lime Accents interior, Metal Gray with Black Onyx
• Hyper Lime seat belts with the Hyper Lime Accents interior, black with Black Onyx

Related options

• Mustang RTR Appearance Package (60F): lime bodyside and hood accent stripes and Hyper Lime calipers; requires the 67U and is not available with Molten Magenta, Orange Fury or Race Red
• Hyper Lime brake calipers (18U): requires the 67U; included with the 60F
• MagneRide damping (96D): available only with the 67U, with a unique calibration
• RECARO leather-trimmed sport seats (21N): EcoBoost Premium only, requires the 67U

The RTR Performance Package cannot be ordered with the Bronze, Nite Pony or Wheel and Stripe packages, the 19″ Premier Polished or 20″ wheels, the mini spare, Matte Clear Film, the Over-the-Top stripe or the optional seat belt colors.

Other Options

Most options are shared across all four groups; the 20″ wheels, Co-Pilot360 Assist+, B&O audio and panoramic display are EcoBoost Premium options.

The wedge decklid spoiler is included with the Nite Pony Package. Prime Blue and International Orange belts are offered only with Black Onyx and Space Gray interiors. Dealer-installed options include a cargo area protector, cargo net, large or standard cargo organizer, cooler bag, first aid kit, roadside assistance kit, logo floor mats and indoor and outdoor car covers.

Colors, Interiors and Stripes

All nine 2027 colors are available on every EcoBoost and EcoBoost Premium interior, except that Adriatic Blue is not offered with the Carmine Red interior. RTR-equipped cars have tighter limits, listed below.

Interiors

The Emberglo interior (3J), offered on the EcoBoost Premium 200A for 2026, is deleted for 2027.

With the RTR Performance Package

• Interiors are Black Onyx with Hyper Lime Accents (2E on 101A, 3E on 200A, 5E on 201A) or Black Onyx (2W, 3W, 5W)
• RECARO leather-trimmed sport seats are available in Black Onyx (SW) on the 200A and 201A
• Molten Magenta, Orange Fury and Race Red are not available with the Hyper Lime Accents interior or the RTR Appearance Package

Stripes

• Over-the-Top stripe (47B, fastback only): Gloss Gray/Semi-Gloss Black (85D) on all colors; Matte Black/Red Accent (85X) on all colors except Molten Magenta and Race Red; Opacity Fade (85V) on all colors except Shadow Black, and not with the Nite Pony Package
• Wheel and Stripe Package (60B): black accent stripe (85R) on all colors
• RTR Performance Package (67U): Tarnished Dark low hood and accent stripe (855) on all colors, or Hyper Lime (85L) with the RTR Appearance Package on Adriatic Blue, Avalanche Gray, Carbonized Gray, Oxford White, Precision Purple and Shadow Black

What the Guide Does Not Answer Yet

Horsepower, torque, compression ratio and fuel economy for the 2027 2.3L EcoBoost are listed as TBD. Pricing isn’t included in the order guide. MFC will update this article when Ford publishes official 2027 figures.
