ROUSH Performance is well known for their modified Mustang’s and F-150’s, but what few outsiders know is ROUSH Performance is the only company that modifies the Ford Mustang pre-title, making them a MOR, Manufacturer of Record. This means that they are held to the same standards as Ford, GM, Chrysler, and other OEM vehicle manufacturers. When the team at ROUSH decided to build the 850 horsepower TrakPak, they were a little shocked that they could build something that could pass emissions and still fit into a manufacturers guidelines! What better way to display its reliability and drivability than to take it on the best lifestyle rally, the goldRush Rally!

Even in a sea of super cars, where Lamborghini’s, Bugatti’s and Ferrari’s are the norm, The 850hp ROUSH TrakPak was able to break some necks as it competed in the East Coast portion of the goldRush Rally 8. The TrakPak was piloted by YouTube star, and top 10 automotive influencer, Rob Dahm, and ROUSH’s Vice President of Marketing, Nic Shafer. Starting in Boston, the team raced across the eastern states, making stops in DC, Charlotte and Nashville.

We had the opportunity to shoot this amazing machine “straight outta Detroit” during our trip in Myrtle Beach, SC for Mustang Week ’16! Thanks to the awesome folks at ROUSH Performance for tossin’ us the keys for a few minutes to capture some photos of the TrakPak while it still had it’s GoldRush Rally 8 livery on.
