S550 Mustang Suspension Packages from UPR Products
UPR Products is no stranger when it comes to suspension components for the Ford Mustang. Recently they have released two new S550 Mustang suspension packages that fit 2015 – 2020 Mustangs. These packages are made for the street or strip. I personally have the adjustable toe links, vertical links, and bushing / cradle lockout kit on my 2015 Mustang GT. I didn’t add all of these at once. The first thing I added was the UPR Vertical Links. Even with stock horsepower, I noticed a lot of wheel hop. The vertical links significantly reduced the wheel hop. After I added the ROUSH supercharger, I needed to beef up my suspension even more. That’s when I decided to add the other components but now UPR offers these all in one package!
Pro-Street Package Stage 1 | GOT TRACTION
The GOT TRACTION package is for those who want a little more traction on the street or strip. Adding these components to your Mustang will improve your 60ft. times on the strip, improve overall handling and reduce wheel hop. This package includes:
- UPR Billet IRS Subframe Braces (Made from CNC machined 6061 Billet Aluminum)
- UPR Billet IRS Bushing Lockout Kit (Made from CNC machined 7075 Billet Aluminum)
The IRS Subframe Braces replace the factory stamped steel braces that are known to twist under load. The other component of this package is the IRS Bushing / Cradle Lockout Kit. These billet inserts fill the voids that the factory rubber bushings have. By filling these voids, you will have reduced wheel hop and improved overall handling of your Mustang without any added noise #winwin. These lockouts are made of 7075 billet aluminum which has a tensile strength of 83,000 PSI!
