2021 Shelby GT500 Color Options

2021 marks the second year of production for the S550 Shelby GT500. We saw some new color options available last year on ’20 GT500 and we will see some new color options again this year. There are eleven total color options available on the 2021 Shelby GT500. These colors include:

• Antimatter Blue
• Carbonized Gray
• Ford Performance Blue
• Grabber Yellow
• Iconic Silver
• Oxford White
• Race Red
• Rapid Red
• Shadow Black
• Twister Orange
• Velocity Blue

Antimatter Blue, Carbonized Gray and Grabber Yellow are three new colors for 2021.

With new colors coming in, that means some of the options have to go. We will have to say goodbye to Grabber Lime, Magnetic and Kona Blue. I would have to say the new 2021 GT500 color options are a worthy replacement to the outgoing colors from 2020.

**Side note, I took these images on my iPhone from the 2021 color guides offered from Ford to their dealership network. I tried scanning these in for better quality but the scanner didn’t do the colors justice. It was hard to show the metallic in some of the color samples. The images haven’t been altered aside from cropping and a slight adjustment to the warm tones because the LED light I used to make the metallic pop cast a blue hue on most of the colors.

Of the three exterior color options leaving the 2021 Shelby GT500 color pallette, Grabber Lime was a one year only color for 2020. Magnetic and Kona Blue have been around since the 2015 Mustang debut and will not be available anymore. Ford Performance Blue is the only 2021 Shelby GT500 specific color option that isn’t shared between any of the other Mustang models.
